My story
Hi, I’m Anna — the owner of M & A Nails Bar.
I’ve been doing nails for more than 10 years. My career started in New York, and seven years ago I moved to Missouri — and I’ve been doing what I love ever since.
I opened this studio because I wanted more women here to experience nail care the way I believe it should be done: unhurried, precise and truly clean. Many of my clients tell me they had never had a manicure like this before — and that’s exactly why I do it.
What matters to me
- Cleanliness. Every tool is sterilized, every station is spotless — no shortcuts.
- Cuticle work. A dry European technique with careful, precise cuticle care is the foundation of a manicure that looks neat and lasts.
- Details. Clean lines, perfect shape, polish right up to the cuticle — the small things are what make nails beautiful.
- Training. I teach and mentor nail artists, so everyone on our team works to the same standard. Nail courses
Behind the scenes
A big part of my day is my blog. I film a lot — the process, the training and, of course, the results. Follow along on Instagram and TikTok.
Travel
I love to travel — the sea, the sunsets, new places. Daisy often comes along for the ride. Every trip brings back new colors and ideas for the studio.
Outside the studio
Outside the studio, my world is my family — my wonderful husband, our kids and our dog Daisy. In my free time I love to cook.
